ST. ALPHONSA CONVENT, MULAPRA

The Good Shepherd Province, Irinjalakuda extended their service to Mulapara, in Thalassery diocese to serve the people in their various needs and promote more vocations to religious and priesthood. St. Alphonsa convent was established On April 2014 and the sisters are involved in the parish ministries such as teaching catechism, visiting families, conducting family meetings, and organizing different associations for the young children and youth. Sisters work in the nursery school to provide a faith based education and also giving their services in counseling to help those with a wide range of afflictions including family issues, depression and abuse and substance issues. The sisters remain a shining beacon of hope and nurture to the physical and emotional needs of the society
